Information Required Before Ordering Liquid Filter Bags
Material and micron rating alone are not enough to release a filter-bag order. Size, ring, seam, bottom, operating conditions and housing fit determine whether the bag can be installed and used safely.
Provide process fluid, temperature, target rating, required efficiency, flow or housing size, bag dimensions, ring, seam, bottom and quantity. For an existing installation, include an old-bag photo and housing nameplate.
1. Process and filtration duty
Identify the liquid, concentration, viscosity, temperature, particle character, required retention and whether the bag is disposable or cleanable.
2. Bag size and flow
Provide design flow and existing housing data. Standard bag numbers are convenient references, but actual diameter and length must be checked—especially for nonstandard and #6–#7 products.
3. Ring, seam and bottom
Specify plastic ring or metal ring, ring material, welded or sewn seam, and bottom shape. Compatibility and sealing depend on the housing basket and sealing seat.
4. Differential pressure
JINLV filter-bag data uses 2.5 bar as the maximum allowable differential pressure, while actual replacement is normally earlier and must respect the housing and process limit. A typical replacement range is 0.8–1.5 bar where the process permits.
5. A usable specification example—not a delivered case
Example brief: JINLV catalog #2 dimensions, Ø180 × 810 mm; PP felt proposed; target 25 μm, with retention efficiency and test method to be agreed; existing ring drawing required. Enter the actual liquid, concentration, temperature, viscosity, flow, solids loading and terminal differential pressure. This is a request for review, not an approved configuration or a claim of process performance.
- Record unknown fields as 'to be confirmed' rather than assuming a standard value.
- State whether the 25 μm requirement is nominal, efficiency-based or another agreed definition.
- Request the ring profile, seam construction and dimensional tolerances on the order drawing.
6. Agree acceptance before placing the order
Separate dimensional inspection from filtration performance validation. Agree the drawing revision, material declaration, ring and seam inspection, packaging and quantity. If retention, extractables, food-contact or sterile-process suitability is required, specify the exact product evidence or test protocol needed; do not infer it from an ISO 9001 certificate.

Filter bag data: what the references establish
Reference basis
The linked size/RFQ sheet is a summary derived from the JINLV liquid filter bag catalog. In this catalog, PE means polyester felt, not polyethylene. Confirm the exact media and construction on the quotation.
What is not established
Catalog temperature and differential-pressure references are not approval of every bag assembly. Ring, seam, support basket, liquid compatibility and housing limits must also be checked. A micron label alone does not establish absolute retention.
Before approval
Request the model-specific drawing, rating definition and available test documentation. Keep missing conditions marked “to be confirmed”; preliminary selector results are not an engineering approval.
