Food & Beverage

Process water, ingredient filtration, CIP solution filtration, and final product clarification. PP/PE/NMO filter bags, PP micron pleated cartridges, and stainless steel filter bags.

Food & Beverage Filtration

Food and beverage filter selection must account for viscosity, temperature cycling, CIP chemistry, cleaning method and the product-specific food-contact documentation required by the destination market. Candidate stages include PP, Polyester (PE) or NMO filter bags, PP depth cartridges, PP pleated cartridges and stainless-steel mesh. Food-contact or FDA documentation must be confirmed for the exact material, component and order; it is not implied by the product-family name.

What We Solve

Food-contact compliance

Identify the destination market and required declaration or regulation, then verify the exact wetted materials and supporting documents before approval.

CIP cleaning compatibility

Food process filters must withstand regular CIP cleaning with caustic and acid solutions. NMO mesh bags and SS bags are cleanable and reusable.

High-viscosity media

Syrups, oils, and concentrated food liquids have high viscosity. Filter elements must provide low pressure drop at reduced flow rates.

Temperature cycling

Food processes involve temperature cycling from cold storage to hot processing. Filter elements must maintain integrity across the temperature range.

Flavor and odor contamination

Filter materials must not impart taste, odor, or color to food products. Extractables testing is required for new filter qualifications.
